Privacy.

The short version: we store as little as we can, most of it stays in your own browser, we run no advertising or analytics today, and any future analytics or affiliate cookies are set only if you opt in.

Who we are

Kleerdrobe (kleerdrobe.nl) is operated by Martino Martini in the Netherlands. Martino Martini is the controller for the data described on this page. For anything privacy-related, email info@kleerdrobe.nl.

What stays in your browser

Your basket, sizes, favourite brands, budget and colour preferences can be saved in your account if you sign in. If you are not signed in, they live in your browser's local storage on your device. We use them to personalise an approved retailer feed when one is live.

Cookies and your consent

If you sign in, Supabase sets strictly necessary authentication cookies so your session can continue between pages. These need no consent because you asked for the sign-in (Telecommunicatiewet art. 11.7a).

Optional analytics and affiliate technology are not active today. If we introduce either, it is activated only if you opt in through our cookie banner. An approved shop link opens the retailer or affiliate network in a new tab. That external site has its own privacy and cookie policy and may ask for consent there. We store your Kleerdrobe choice with its date so we can honour it, and you can change or withdraw it any time via “Cookie settings” at the foot of any page.

Affiliate measurement

When approved affiliate links are live, they can tell a retailer or network that a visit came from Kleerdrobe. Where a partner supports a click reference or Sub ID, we use only an opaque identifier for attribution and performance reporting. We do not put your name or email address in an affiliate link. A partner may later report an anonymous conversion and commission status to us; orders, payment details and returns remain with the retailer.

When we use profile preferences to match an approved feed, the feed request contains only the preference fields needed for matching and filtering. It does not contain your account name or email address.

If you do not consent to affiliate measurement, Kleerdrobe's shop redirect uses the ordinary retailer product URL instead of the affiliate tracking URL. Affiliate redirect hosts are explicitly allowlisted on our server and a broken or unapproved tracking link falls back to that ordinary URL.

If you create an account

Supabase stores your email address, your name if you give one, your profile preferences, favourites, lists, and the authentication data needed to sign you in. We cannot read your password. Legal basis: providing the account you asked for (contract). We keep it until you delete your account: email info@kleerdrobe.nl and we will erase it within 30 days.

Marketing emails

We send optional product picks or Kleerdrobe updates only when you actively tick the marketing box at sign-up or enable marketing emails in your profile. We store your email preference and when it was last updated so we can honour it. Legal basis: consent. You can withdraw that consent in your profile or through the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Account security and service messages are separate from marketing.

If you use the virtual try-on

The photo you upload is sent over an encrypted connection to OpenAI, our AI processor, together with the permitted product images needed to generate the try-on picture. We do not keep your uploaded photo in the Kleerdrobe product database; it is processed while your request runs. OpenAI may process data outside the EEA under the safeguards in its data processing terms. Legal basis: this processing happens only when you choose to upload a photo. Please don't upload photos of other people without their permission.

What we never do

We never sell your data. We share it only with service providers needed for the features described on this page, and we run no advertising-network or cross-site profiling cookies. We do no profiling beyond the preferences you set yourself.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy. Email info@kleerdrobe.nl and we'll respond within 30 days. Since most data sits in your own browser, you can also simply clear it yourself. If you believe we handle your data improperly, you have the right to complain to the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Third-party content

Product data and prices can come from retailers and approved affiliate networks. Product images load from their original hosted location where possible, so that host receives the ordinary technical information needed to serve an image, including your IP address. Brand ratings come from Good On You; footprint figures are our category and material-based estimates from public LCA data, not certified product assessments. See the methodology.
